Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website is provided by The Brain College, 1604 Walker St, Houston, TX 77010, United States. You can reach us at louis@thebraincollege.com.

2. What we collect

• The email field on our home page: when you ask for What's inside, your email address is added to Louis Manson's newsletter on Kit, our email provider, together with the campaign tags of the link you followed. Kit then emails you the gift. The notice beside the button says so, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Recommended newsletters: after you join, Kit may show you other newsletters (Kit's Creator Network and SparkLoop). You choose whether to join any of them; if you do, that newsletter receives your email address.
• When you write to us: if you email us, we receive your email address and your message. If you comment on our posts or message us on Instagram or Facebook, we receive your username and your message, and our replies are sent through Zernio.
• Website statistics: we count page visits and presses on the buttons without cookies. Your browser keeps a random visit number in its session storage for up to 30 minutes, with the campaign tags of the link you followed. We do not record your name, email address or IP address with these statistics.
• Technical information: like every website, our hosting provider handles standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the page and keep it secure.

3. How we use it

• to send you the free gift and the newsletter you joined, until you unsubscribe;
• to answer your questions;
• to see which pages and campaigns bring readers here, so we can improve them;
• to keep this website secure and to prevent abuse.

4. The newsletter, and we never sell your data

If you join through the email field, you receive Louis Manson's newsletter. You can leave at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

5. Cookies

This website does not use cookies or advertising pixels.

6. Who helps us

• Kit keeps our newsletter list and sends our emails; its recommendations include newsletters from its Creator Network and SparkLoop.
• Google Workspace sends and receives our email.
• Railway hosts this website.
• Supabase stores our records and the files this website serves.
• Zernio sends our replies to comments and messages on Instagram and Facebook.

7. Where your information is processed

Our providers may process your information in the United States and in other countries.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe. We keep messages and emails for as long as we need them to help you.

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing louis@thebraincollege.com. We will reply within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, for example in California, the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have further rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We will never treat you differently for using these rights.
